Part of a Complete Fleet Management Platform

In addition to fleet safety through the Dash Cam module, we provide a complete fleet management platform consisting of GPS tracking, various solutions for asset tracking and advanced reporting.

Wireless Links Forward Collision Warning Telematics Integration

We offer the following devices, depending on your needs.

Choose between dual-SIM cellular dashcam deployment or cost-effective single-SIM Wi-Fi integration with Piccolo telematics.

Piccolo STX Safety Configuration Legacy Image

Piccolo STX Configuration

The DashCam in this configuration has an integrated 4G LTE cellular modem. In this configuration, two sims are required one for the Piccolo STX for fleet management and a high usage sim for the Dash Cam.

Piccolo Plus Safety Configuration Legacy Image
Most Economical Solution

Piccolo Plus Configuration

This configuration is the most complete solution for fleet management and the most economical for an integrated solution with dash Cam as it uses only one sim for all Fleet management, ELD and Camera functionalities.

In this configuration, the Dash Cam sends the video via WIFI to the Piccolo Plus that routes the data to Fleet.Net via 4G LTE. The DashCam is powered by the Piccolo Plus, which captures the driver behavior events.

Fleet Safety - Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about video safety, driver behavior monitoring, event review, privacy, and deployment.

How can dashcam footage support incident investigation?
Compatible cameras can associate road or cabin footage with location, speed, braking, and other telematics context. This gives authorized teams a clearer record to review and share through their established incident or claims process.
What is the difference between single SIM and dual SIM dashcam configurations?
In a single SIM setup (Piccolo Plus), the dashcam connects via Wi-Fi to the Piccolo gateway, routing all telematics, ELD, and video data over ONE cellular plan. In a dual SIM setup (Piccolo STX), the dashcam operates its own independent cellular SIM alongside the telematics device.
Are video events automatically captured during harsh driving?
Compatible cameras can upload event clips for configured triggers such as harsh braking, rapid acceleration, sharp turns, tailgating, or lane-departure detections. Available triggers and pre- or post-event footage vary by camera and configuration.
Can fleet managers view live video from trucks on the road?
Supported camera configurations can provide authorized live viewing and retrieval of recorded clips. Availability depends on the camera, storage, connectivity, permissions, and service configuration.
