LoRa GPS Tracker ATL-1
LoRa GPS Tracker - ATL-1
revolutionary LoRa based solar powered asset tracker integrated with Fleet & Asset Management
LoRa ATL-1 gps Asset Tracker does everything cellular based trackers do without monthly cell charges.

The Solar Powered LoRa ATL-1 Asset Tracker is packaged in a rugged IP67 enclosure, has integrated GPS and has a LoRa communication range of around 3/4 mile (1.2km) radius making it an ideal solution to track assets such as Heavy Equipment, Chassis, Containers, Generators, Trailers, Reefer Trailers and other valuable assets in large yards, depots, airports, warehouses and sea ports.
Optionally a high accuracy digital temperature LoRa sensor can be added to monitor the temperature in reefer trailers or cold rooms.
Solar Powered
The ATL-1 LoRa GPS Tracker consumes very little power, as long as it’s exposed to the sun around 8hrs/day in most applications no additional charging is required for on-going operations.
LoRa Long Range Communication
Up To 3/4 Mile (1.2km) communication range between the LoRa GPS Tracker and Piccolo Gateway
Temperature Monitoring
Supports optional high accuracy digital temperature sensor for reefer trailers and cold rooms.
Waterproof, IP67 Enclosure
Purpose built to withstand the harshest environments.
Innovative LoRa Technology
For Asset Tracking
Our LoRa asset tracking system is part of a complete IoT solution, transmitting location and temperature data to the Piccolo gateways that are in turn uploading the location and temperature data to the Cloud.
LoRa Tracking Applications
Piccolo ATX2S devices packaged in a IP67 rugged enclosure are installed throughout the yard or depot, airport or port in a radius of 1/2 mile one to the other creating a LoRa network throughout the yard.
The Piccolo ATX2S is acting as a LoRa gateway, uploading the data received from the ATL-1 LoRa GPS Trackers to the Fleet.Net Cloud Platform via cellular.
LoRa For Yard Management
The ATL-1 LoRa GPS Trackers installed on various assets throughout the yard such as generators, heavy machinery and refrigerated trailers are sending via the LoRa network the GPS based location and optional temperature data of the asset they are installed on.
Key Functionalities Include:
- Get exact GPS location of an asset in the yard, depot or campus
- Set up boundaries and get the following events for every asset:
- crossing the gate into the yard
- crossing the gate out of the yard
- crossing preset boundaries inside the yard
- sending alarms on move
- optional temperature monitoring for reefer trailers

LoRa For Port Management
The ATL-1 LoRa GPS Trackers installed on various assets throughout the port such as containers and chassis are sending via the LoRa network the GPS based location of the asset they are installed on.
Key Functionalities Include:
- Get exact GPS location of Chassis, Containers or any other asset at the port or yard
- Set up boundaries and get the following events for every asset:
- crossing the gate into the port
- crossing the gate out of the port
- Loading on a vessel
- Unloading from a vessel
- Know what assets are on a ship
- optional temperature monitoring for reefer trailers

LoRa For Warehouse Management
The ATL-1 LoRa GPS Trackers installed on various assets such as pallets and inside cold rooms are sending via the LoRa network the GPS based location and temperature of the asset.
Key Functionalities Include:
- Get exact GPS location of each pallet
- Easily set up a wireless LoRa network for monitoring the temperature throughout your warehouse and cold rooms

Product Features
- Temperature Monitoring
Supports a wired digital temperature sensor with an accuracy of +/- 0.5°C
- Store & Forward
When out of coverage from the LoRa network, the ATL-1 will store the messages and will upload them when back in coverage.
- Easy Installation
The ATL-1 is easily mounted in place with heavy duty magnets, 3M Heavy Duty Tape or screws.

FAQ
LoRaWAN is a communication protocol sitting on top of the LoRa network. In a nutshell, LoRaWAN significantly increases the range of the network by turning each LoRa device on the network into a ‘repeater’, repeating the messages it picks up from nearby devices and transmitting them forward to the gateway.
Technology is vastly different and as such LoRa and WiFi are used for completely different needs. WiFi is used for a high speed network transmitting large chunks of data while LoRa is much slower and used for transmitting small data points making it ideal for IoT applications.
Think of LoRa as your own private network. There is no monthly charge for using the network unlike with 5G cellular networks that require a SIM and monthly charges for usage on the network.
LoRa transmission depends on the equipment type and antennas, typical range without boosters and extenders is around 3/4 of a mile. The LoRaWAN significantly increases the range of the LoRa network.
LoRaWAN is the ideal solution for IoT applications, and can be used for endless applications including yard management, warehouse tracking, facility monitoring and much more.
Short answer is yes.
No. LoRa is an independent network for IoT devices to communicate with each other
A 5G or WiFi network is needed to upload the data gathered by the LoRa IoT devices to the cloud.
