Solar-Powered Wireless Temperature Monitoring

The integrated solar panel recharges the sensor’s internal battery when suitable light is available, reducing the need for routine manual charging.

The BLE sensor records cargo or compartment temperature and stores each reading in onboard memory. When a compatible Piccolo device or the DriverLink app is within range, current and stored readings transfer automatically to Fleet.Net.

If no connection is available, the sensor continues logging locally and forwards the stored temperature history after communication is restored.

1. Temperature Recording

The wireless sensor records temperature readings at the configured interval.

2. Onboard Storage

When no Piccolo device or DriverLink app is in range, readings remain stored in the sensor's onboard memory.

3. BLE Reconnection

When a compatible Piccolo device or DriverLink app comes back into range, the sensor reconnects over BLE.

4. Automatic Data Transfer

The sensor transfers its stored readings, along with current readings, through Piccolo or DriverLink.

5. Fleet.Net Upload

Piccolo or DriverLink uploads the readings to Fleet.Net for history, monitoring, and configured alerts.
