LoRa Temperature Sensor
Rugged IP67 waterproof digital sensor designed to track real-time temperatures in reefer trailers, warehouse cold rooms, and shipping containers, communicating telemetry packet logs up to 3/4 mile radius.
Wireless Cold Storage Temperature Auditing
The LoRa Wireless temperature sensor is packaged in a rugged IP67 enclosure and features a high-accuracy LoRa digital temperature sensor, making it ideal for monitoring temperatures in reefer trailers, containers, or warehouse cold rooms.
With low-power and long-range capabilities, it wirelessly communicates temperature data over long distances using our proprietary LoRa protocol. This makes it ideal for monitoring temperature and humidity levels in large spaces, ensuring that perishable goods are stored at the correct temperature and remain safe for consumption. Our wireless temperature sensors are easy to install and configure, providing store owners and warehouse managers with quick access to vital information about the state of their inventory.
Sensor Design Advantages:
- High-accuracy digital sensor probe (+/- 0.5C)
- Completely wireless with up to 7-year battery life
- Magnetic and adhesive backing for under 60-second mount
- Rugged IP67 weatherproof polycarbonate housing
How the LoRa Temperature Sensor Operates
A loop of high-precision digital temperature measurement, low-frequency broadcasting, and cloud dashboard alerting.
Easy Probe Mounting
Sensors are mounted inside walk-in freezers, coolers, or reefer containers in seconds using integrated magnets or adhesive backing.
High-Accuracy Sampling
The internal digital sensor samples temperature (accurate to +/- 0.5°C) and humidity levels at configurable preset intervals.
Low-Power Broadcast
The sensor transmits digitized thermal logs over unlicensed radio frequencies to the gateway, ensuring up to 7 years of battery life.
Immediate Alert Loop
Piccolo gateway relays the sensor logs to Fleet.Net. High-temperature alerts or open door alarms are sent instantly via SMS/Email.
LoRa Telematics Technical Capabilities
Select a feature on the left console panel to diagnose parameters, signal types, and integration parameters.
High-Precision Digital Core
The internal digital sensor samples room temperature and humidity margins accurately, converting them directly to data packets.
Complete Cold Chain Accountability
Wireless temperature and humidity tracking engineered for industrial stores, warehouses, and reefers.
For Refrigerated Warehouses and Cold Rooms
Our LoRa wireless temperature sensors are the perfect solution for temperature monitoring in warehouses, stores, and cold rooms. With their low-power and long-range capabilities, they wirelessly monitor temperature and humidity levels in large spaces, ensuring that perishable goods remain safe for consumption. Store owners and warehouse managers get quick access to vital information about the state of their inventory.
For Refrigerated Trailers and Reefers in Yards
Our low-power LoRa wireless temperature sensors are packaged in a waterproof IP67 enclosure and can communicate over long distances, making them ideal for tracking the temperature and GPS location of reefers and refrigerated trailers in large yards. This ensures that perishable goods are stored at the correct temperature. Sensors are plug-and-play, providing yard managers with quick access to asset state and location.
Long Range Communication & Solar Power
The LoRa wireless temperature sensor can establish a long-range wireless communication range of up to 3/4 mile (1.2 km) with the Piccolo Gateway. When combined with the optional solar-powered ATL-1 casing, it requires only 8 hours of sunlight exposure per day to operate continuously without requiring manual battery recharging.
Store & Forward Offline Buffering
Ensure continuous temperature logging with zero data gaps. When out of coverage from the local LoRa gateway network, the sensor logs are buffered in local non-volatile flash memory, and automatically uploaded to the Fleet.Net cloud database once communication range is re-established.

LoRa Temperature Sensor FAQ
How does the LoRa Temperature Sensor upload location data?
It utilizes low-frequency cellular IoT network bands (NB-IoT/Cat.M1) via the Piccolo Gateway to securely upload GPS coordinates, speed logs, and temperature diagnostics. If there is a disconnect, it stores up to 5,000 logs locally and uploads them upon reconnection.
How is the LoRa Temperature Sensor device configured?
Settings such as transmission report intervals, geofence parameters, and alert thresholds can be updated dynamically over-the-air (OTA) via SMS/GPRS commands without retrieving the device.
Is the sensor probe waterproof and sub-zero rated?
Yes. The sensor is packaged in a rugged IP67 waterproof enclosure and operates between -40C to +85C, making it fully reliable for industrial warehouse freezers and reefer shipping containers.
What is the signal range of the LoRa Temperature Sensor?
It operates on localized radio frequency links, reaching a range of up to 3/4 mile (1.2km) in industrial warehouse and yard environments to transmit logs to the Piccolo LoRa Gateway.
