Mini IoT GPS Asset Tags

Introducing The Revolutionary Mini IoT Tags for Tagging Tools & Assets

Our IoT asset tracking solution helps businesses gain asset visibility, asset inventory control and maximize their asset utilization.  The IoT asset tracking solution involves placing mini IoT asset tags on any type of asset, whether vehicle, tool, equipment, container and so on, to monitor and track their location and movements. The IoT asset tags contain RFID chips that communicate with the Piccolo Plus telematics unit containing an RFID reader that automatically identifies and tracks the mini IoT asset tags, sending data to one central cloud based asset tracking dashboard.

Go Paperless

Easy-to-use cloud based platform provides a visualized dashboard of pick up and drop off.

Increased Visibility

How it works

mini iot asset tags for Tool Tracking System
Mini IoT Active RFID Tags

The solution consists of mini IoT tags mounted on your assets.

The mini IoT tags are small, battery powered active RFTags packaged in an IP67 waterproof enclosure.

The RFTags are placed on trailers, containers or any asset to be monitored and a Piccolo Plus with an RFLink module is installed in any truck.

The RFTags communicate via RF at 2.4GHz to the Piccolo Plus Gateway at a radius of up to 250 feet (70m).

Telematics RF Gateway

The RFTags communicate via RF at 2.4GHz to the Piccolo Plus Gateway.  The Piccolo telematics unit (acting as an RF gateway) is plugged via a plug and play harness to the ECM in the truck. The Piccolo unit provides GPS, maintenance, engine diagnostics and driver behavior habits.

Asset Tracking & Management

When an asset is dropped off or picked,  the location and time of drop off are recorded and can be reviewed on the platform.

Prevent Loss/Theft

Once the job is completed, if an asset is forgotten once the vehicle starts  moving, drivers are alerted to missing assets via SMS message to their smart phone/tablet.
