Our Piccolo STX and Piccolo Plus have the option to tie into the vehicle's on board computer using standard J1708 and CanBus OBDII, J1939 and Kline protocols. With the data received Fleet.Net will generate reports of all or some of the following values: battery levels, engine speed (RPMs), fuel percentage, engine load percentage, fuel consumption, average fuel rate (gal/h) that you can analyze monthly, weekly, or daily. Additionally Fleet.Net will generate reports and send alarms via e-mail and/or SMS and/or Pop-ups’s of the various engine codes related to engine diagnostics.
This revolutionary hardware and software component is a function of the Wireless Links Piccolo Plus and Piccolo STX telematics units. The Wireless Links advanced algorithm detects real time the following essential driver behaviors events and sends the already analyzed data to Fleet.Net for graphical display and reporting:
• Sudden braking
• Sudden acceleration
• Sharp lane crossing
• Sharp turning
Based on the driver behavior data displayed and reported, the fleet manager can easily identify the reckless drivers that will most likely get into an accident. A growing number of insurance companies provide a discount to fleets that can monitor driver behavior as they can detect and remove or discipline high risk drivers.
The data may also be displayed in a report format with the date, time, type and exact location of the violation.
Wireless Links offers multiple real time temperature monitoring solutions for refrigerated trucks and trailers. Using our accurate fixed mount digital temperature sensors integrated with the Piccolo telematics units or portable temperature monitoring solutions to be placed in temperature sensitive shipments such as medical drugs and food. The temperature reading is being sent to the Fleet.net server and is being displayed with high and low temperate settings. In parallel, alarms can be sent via e-mail, SMS and in-app pop-up notifications.
In addition to being the industry's most advanced telematics unit, the Piccolo Plus integrated with a Wi-Fi module will function as a in-cabin WiFi Hotspot and wireless router. The WiFi function allows communication of any mobile device to the internet via the Piccolo Plus.
The major advantage is using one sim, one cellular bill for GPS tracking, HOS, dispatch and messaging.
The DVIR based electronic daily driver inspections report is fully integrated with the DriverLog App and Fleet.Net. DVIR provides you with complete visibility of daily and historical monitoring of the inspection finding for every truck. In turn, saving paperwork and increasing productivity by a better and more productive management.
Fleet.Net allows you to set up boundaries around specific geographical areas such as the driver’s home, the company’s parking lot, specific customers’ locations and be notified when a vehicle enters and when it exits a boundary. You may set up multiple boundaries. Also you may set up a boundary within a boundary and you may give a name to every boundary. The boundaries can be polygons in any shape. Fleet.Net has a specific Boundary Report that records the time that every vehicle enters and exits a specific boundary.
RFLink is the only Active RFID technology integrated with a GPS telematics unit and is the ideal solution for inventory management of assets. Place an RFTag on every asset and know the last location of your assets, know exactly where and when you dropped off and picked up a container or a trailer and by whom. Known for how long a container or trailer has been parked at a customer site.
The RFTag can be also a wireless remote IO and /or Wireless temperature sensor.
This module allows you to schedule periodic maintenance such as Oil Change, Filter Change, Tire check, and any other maintenance task and then Fleet.Net will alert you when a particular vehicle is getting close to the predetermined task. Once a maintenance and/or repair has been completed you may enter the dollar amount the task costs so at any moment you have the crucial management information of per vehicle and per fleet maintenance cost at your finger tip.

Keeping the engine idling is a massive unnecessary operational expense. Every one hour of idle time costs on average a gallon of fuel. In addition, idle time increases maintenance cost as the engine is running without producing. Fleet.Net allows you to set up alerts that will pop up on your computer screen if a specific vehicle is idling longer then a predetermined time such as 10 minutes. Fleet.Net will also provide a comprehensive Idle report showing the period and address of idling for every vehicle or the entire fleet for any selected period of time.
Fleet.Net displays in real time the current status of every IO such as PTO and Engine On or Off. You may rename every IO to reflect the terminology used for that input in your fleet. Every change in IO status is recorded and is reflected in the IO report, Engine report and Stop by PTO report along with the date, time, and address of the event.
